My aim is to create pieces that others will enjoy wearing or gifting. I became an art teacher to give others the ability to create and understand art.

After retiring, I took my first jewelry class at John Campbell Folk School. I was hooked and took more classes at William Holland Lapidary School also.

One of my favorite techniques is cold connections using copper and other metals to assemble pieces. I have been making jewelry for about 15 years, participating in art shows in the area and as a member of the Valley River Art Guild my jewelry is for sale at the MAC.
