Pat is a professional fine artist and seasoned, encouraging instructor who has been painting in watercolor and oil for the past 25 years. She is known for her elegant florals and still life paintings and romantic landscapes of Italy, France and other travel destinations. Her art is fueled by her passion and energy and she believes you need to be excited about what you are painting in order to create art that has life and connects with others.
Inspired to make the expression of beauty a higher priority in her life, in 2002, she left a successful 20-year career as a Marketing Vice President with major corporations including The Coca-Cola Company, and made a dramatic life change to become a full-time artist. She says, “I was driven by a desire to create beautiful things. Through my own painting and teaching others how to paint, I hope to inspire in people a deeper awareness and appreciation of the beauty around us and share the joy of painting.”
Pat is a Signature Member and Past President of the Georgia Watercolor Society and Past Chairman of the Atlanta Artist Center. Her award-winning work has been featured in over 75-juried shows and over 20 one-woman shows.
Based in Atlanta, Pat has taught classes and workshops in the U.S. since 1998 and has led 17 International painting workshops in Italy, France, Spain, the Caribbean and New Zealand. In 2015, Pat taught at Monet’s Garden in Giverny France. While there, she won first prize in an annual plein air painting competition and was invited back to exhibit her work at the “Laureate de la Fete de la Peinture” exposition in France.
Pat is author of the book, “Bella Italia, Italy Through the Eyes of an Artist”, which contains over 80 of her paintings of Italy.
